I am a multi-media artist working in acrylic, drawing, watercolour, encaustic, sculpture, installation and of course Zentangle\u00ae<\/sup><\/b> and Zentangle\u00ae<\/sup> Inspired Art.<\/b> I am a Certified Zentangle\u00ae<\/sup> Teacher\u00a0 <\/span>(CZT) which means I have learned the process during an intensive course in Providence, Rhode Island, taught by the founders of Zentangle<\/span> \u00ae<\/sup>,<\/b><\/span> Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts and Maria\u2019s daughter Molly Hollibaugh.<\/span><\/p>\n

Only Certified Zentangle\u00ae<\/sup> Teachers (CZT) are authorized and qualified to offer official Zentangle\u00ae<\/sup> classes and workshops.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"image2-18\"Zentangle\u00ae<\/sup> is an easy-to-learn, relaxing way to create beautiful non-representational, interesting images by drawing structured patterns one stroke at a time. It was developed by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas in 2003 as a way for anyone to access their creativity and as a type of visual meditation and practice. They believe \u201clife is an art form and the Zentangle\u00ae<\/sup> Method is an elegant metaphor for a deliberate artistry of life.\u201d <\/span>You don’t even need to know how to draw to do it! <\/span>Anyone can do a Zentangle\u00ae<\/sup> as it is taught one step at a time. Some will obviously have more of a flourish with it but children, seniors, artists and non-artists alike can do it.<\/span><\/p>\n
