Originally this was a site-specific installation for the viewer to ponder the relationship between the figure and the ventilation piping above. Later the seated figure became more of a sculpture on it’s own. The figure and book are hollow, casted pieces made completely of medical grade plaster gauze. The detail is showing the head of the figure and how the obvious the bandages are.
